Calstone College embraces the military by transitioning aspiring Servicemembers into professional artists and designers. You'll have help every step of the way. Calstone College is approved for Military Tuition Assistance and GI Bill® benefits.

Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits

Calstone College is approved by the California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE) to assist students with their educational benefits, under Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill®).

  • Where are you located?
    We are located in Los Angeles vibrant Koreatown neighborhood, conveniently located minutes away from Downtown’s Jewelry District. ​ The address is 4117 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90019 (Mailing Add: 1272 S. Bronson Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90019) ​ ​Located on the corner of Pico Blvd. and S. Bronson Ave., Calstone College is only minutes from the Hollywood (101), Glendale (2), Harbor (110) and Santa Monica (10) Freeways. Public Transportation (Bus Lines) are within walking distance.
  • How do I register?
    All students must complete the application for admission and submit a 1-2 page personal essay. ​The other information needed can be found in the application checklist on the admission application.
  • How early do I need to register?
    Calstone College operates on a rolling admissions policy. We accept applications into our programs up to the start of the program for that quarter. Please contact the admissions office for current deadlines and more information. ​ ​Admissions Office: (213) 738-7700
  • Do I need experience to attend your classes?
    Many of our classes are open to new jewelers. A few have pre-requisites that are listed in the class descriptions.
  • Do I need to buy or bring tools to attend CC?
    Our classroom is outfitted with professional jeweler benches and fully stocked with high quality tools. ​There is no need to buy or bring tools. If you have specific tools you like and use, you are welcome to bring them.
  • What should I wear?
    Dress comfortably and casually. Bring something to tie your hair back if you have long hair, wear closed toe shoes, and some students opt to wear an apron to protect their clothing.
  • What time do classes start?
    Classes start at 9am and end at 4pm, with a one hour lunch break at noon. ​We have a communal lunch area for students to use; there’s a dining table, refrigerator, microwave, ​and plenty of restaurants if dining out is easier.
  • What airport is closest?
    Calstone College is 11 miles away from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 13 miles away from Bob Hope Airport in Burbank.
  • Where should I stay when visiting CC?
    The closest hotels to our school are The New Seoul Hotel, located at 2666 W. Olympic Blvd. and ​the Rotex Hotel located at 3411 W. Olympic Blvd.
